One thing is certain. The significant reduction in permissible levels for emissions means big challenges particularly for the operators of cruise liners. As early as 1997 we had to concern ourselves with the cleaning of smoke gases on ships and successfully introduced catalytic emission cleaning plants. Wet or dry de-sulphurisation? We are experienced in both processes and have, on behalf of ship owners, examined and installed the latest processes available.
